PERSIMMON APPLE CHIPS
Happy Thanksgiving! This easy persimmons chips recipe is a riff from the apple chips recipe and is inspired from the online blog by figsinmybelly. They take a while to bake, but they are worth it.
I love how I can keep a batch of these chips in a glass jar on my kitchen table so it is easy for everyone to grab a healthy snack when they wanna munch on something!
4-6 medium fuyu persimmons
1-2 Apple (Fuji or Red delicious)
1. Preheat oven to 250F.
2. Thinly slice the persimmons and apples into rounds. Layer the slices on 2-3 baking sheets or how many it takes so slices are not touching each other.
3. Bake until the centers look dry and the edges begin to curl up, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
