Saag is the perfect winter curry from Northern India. This is the best traditional Indian dish that incorporates a lot of greens🍃🌱🌿–Fresh Mustard Greens, Fenugreek leaves, broccoli and Bathua (Chenopodium) that are perfectly balanced with Spinach. I try to make a huge batch every time so it lasts a few days. In winter, saag is a staple dish in many Punjabi households☺️🍃

Makki ki Roti is a corn pancake and today I stuffed these with grated white yams, fenugreek leaves and mild spices. I used coarse cornmeal left from posted earlier. If you use a fine ground cornmeal or add a little whole wheat flour to the flour mix, it’s easier to get a round shape.
▶️It’s best to use fresh cornmeal for making makki ki roti for maximum flavor.

And of course oodles of ghee on raw onions, some butter-makhan on complete the meal.
