COOL CREAMY GREEN CHILE SAUCE 🌶🥬 I love to kick up our favorite dishes and this is the perfect sauce I found on Chef Shannon’s page chefshannonsmith . I have bumper growth of big sweet peppers from just one plant and it was perfect to use them in this recipe. The sauce is very easy to prep and is delicious and goes so well with the chicken and veggie burgers and also when topped on some watermelon gazpacho🍉🌞
Isn’t it wonderful when you can expand the use of one sauce and create different dishes🥒🍅
1/2 cup roasted sweet pepper – 4
Tomatillos – 4
1/2 cup parsley
1/2 cup cilantro
2 garlic cloves
1 green onion
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup buttermilk
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Roasting Sweet Peppers: Big peppers can be roasted on the gas or grill, once the skin is charred place the peppers in a bowl and cover. The skin will become soft with steam inside the bowl. Remove charred skin and chop the chillies.
2. Put chillies and rest of the ingredients in the blender and blend smooth.
