When it’s gloomy like it was today, I fall back on my cozy favorites. Today it was stewed cabbage chicken. Cooks fast and we love to eat it with roti or pita and also scoop up some dill Chile yogurt.
▶️Small Chicken pieces are first sautéed with ginger, garlic and simple spices- turmeric, salt , garam masala and cardamom. Once cooked, about 6-7 min keep these aside. Next cook fine shredded cabbage with cumin seeds and onion sauté. Cabbage cooks quickly and once it starts to wilt and releases juices, add chicken back to the pan. Mix together, cover the pan and let it cook for just 1-2 mins more. That’s it, serve hot♨️
