APPLE CHIPS 🍏🍎
Happy Holidays! This is an easy apple chips recipe and this is the third time I’m baking them in the last few days☺️. I love how I can keep a batch of these chips on my kitchen table and it is easy for everyone to grab a healthy snack when they wanna munch on something.
I added a little festive touch to them with a sprinkle of lime juice, cinnamon and nutmeg.
They take a while to bake, but they are worth it and the delightful cinnamon-y aroma fills up the house for the holiday mood. These are great to nibble on with some mulled wine, post coming tomorrow.
2-3 Apple (Fuji, Gala or Red delicious)
1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
2. Thinly slice the apples into rounds. Layer the slices on 2-3 baking sheets or how many it takes so slices are not touching each other.
3. Bake until the centers look dry and the edges begin to curl up, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours- Yeah! This is something I cook at night with a timer on my oven and it shuts off automatically and by morning these apple chips are nice and crisp✨ ➡️Make sure oven timer works before using the timer😉
